What music selections do you have?

"Our motto is "We play the hits and your requests!"  We have over 10,000 selections including Digital Library and CD's with all the current releases and chart hits from a variety of professional disc jockey subscription services such as ERG and Multi Music Services.

Will the DJ also act as the Master of Ceremonies?

Our Disc Jockeys are all trained in aspects of Master of Ceremonies and will coordinate events if pre-arranged, however our DJ's can step whenever needed.

What are your rates/time periods?

Time periods are according to the package length.  Overtime is measured in increments of 30 minutes/Overtime. All fees are subject to HST.

Do you bring any give away items?

We can give away a variety of prizes supplied by the client for spot dances and games/competitions.  An extra charge would apply if we provide the giveaway items.

What music will be played at my event?

We provide you with a wedding planner which will address your music choices and any other formalities.  We require this completed planner at least 2 weeks prior to your function.  This can all be done via email.

What if I request music currently not in inventory?

Usually Steve's DJ Service is able to find all your music requests if enough time is available. For more obscure music, you may provide your own copy on cd.  Just let us know in advance.

How will the staff be dressed for my event?

The standard attire at events for Steve's DJ Services is dress pants, shirt and tie unless otherwise indicated by the client.

Will the DJ arrive on time?

Set up generally occurs approximately 1 hour before the event is scheduled to start.

How will the DJ know the order of events?

This will be detailed in wedding or event planner.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel within 30 days of your event date the full payment is required.   Deposits are non-refundable.

How much do I put down as an initial payment?

$100 towards the full amount is due as a deposit to reserve your date. The balance is due  prior to the beginning of the event.

Do you bring lights, etc?

It depends on which package you have booked.

Do I tip the DJ?

Gratuities are not expected, however our DJ's are delighted when a client shows their appreciation for exceptional service.
